Guilad “Gil” Kahn — Founder & Executive Producer
Aasia Productions was founded by Emmy-winning producer-director and location manager Guilad “Gil” Kahn. With nearly three decades of international production experience, Gil began his career in news and documentary, working as a cameraman and producer for international broadcasters and news agencies before establishing Aasia Productions in Singapore.
His credits span film, television, documentary, commercials and branded content, and he is Singapore's only member of the Location Managers Guild International (LMGI).

Aasia Productions founder Guilad “Gil” Kahn is an Emmy Award-winning producer-director with a career spanning international news, documentary, television and film. In 2025, he received a News & Documentary Emmy Award as Field Producer on Bloomberg’s The Future with Hannah Fry: Quantum Arms Race, winner of Outstanding Science and Technology Coverage. His earlier work includes Burma VJ, the Academy Award-nominated documentary, alongside numerous other award-winning and internationally recognized productions.

Beyond Singapore, we regularly support our clients across the region, including in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Timor-Leste (East TImor) and the Pacific Islands.
In addition to production services and crewing, Aasia Productions regularly produces EPK/BTS content for Hollywood and European film productions on location throughout Asia-Pacific and the Middle East, including behind-the-scenes coverage, cast and crew interviews, and unit/set photography. We also provide film premiere, press junket and red carpet coverage for major international studios.
